Quite recently, I discovered that blogging for money can be as simple as a click of my mouse, or, uh, finger sensitivity thing on my laptop.
A few months ago I wrote an article for a college magazine and got so hyped up about it that I thought about freelance writing as a career. As it turns out, being a freelance writer is harder than trying to light a fire with a marshmallow (I don't want to talk about it). Instead, I turned to my blogging to vent my frustration and *blam*, that's when people decided to take notice of my stellar word-mastery.
The intrawebz and myself have been pseudo bff's since high school, especially during my angst filled sophomore year of high school. Now that I've grown up a bit and had "life experiences", I can write about specific topics I know bunches and bunches of information about (note this blog). These topics are interesting to others and so now I'm being paid pocket change to write for Redgage, which I absolutely love, and quite possibly for other people/companies if they find it to their advantage to hire a freshly squeezed college graduate.
Not from concentrate.
